Most families are eligible for the Non Government School Transport Assistance rebate which provides substantial bus fare relief for families. In fact, on most occasions, Secondary students travel free of charge.
Glasshouse Country Coaches Flood Policy: Glasshouse Country Coaches have advised GCCC that due to new WH&S regulations, it will have to cancel buses when there is flooding over roads and safety concerns for the students. This directive was taken from the Queensland Government campaign, ‘if it is flooded, forget it’. GCCC will send a text to all families as soon as the information comes to hand and there will also be a special note on the front page of the GCCC website should this happen again in the future.
